Our Hoppers Crossing CC had to settle for a loss as they were undone by Aintree Stallions White.
First up, we made 7/170 from 35 overs. Shadi Sideek top-scored with 43 off 34 balls. Solid support came from Ashish Mishra, who made 41. Pavan Bade weighed in with 39 off 32 balls. For Aintree Stallions White, Gamandeep Singh took four for 8 off four overs.
The visitors reached the target at 6/171 in 26.2 overs. Fifty for Rajat Sharma, who made 56 not out for our opponents. Azan Ali led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 19.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Thanks to the visitors for the contest.
