Our Hoppers Crossing CC had to settle for a loss as they came off second best against Aintree Stallions White in a disappointing result.
First up, we made 9/144 from 33.3 overs. Gytanshu Garg made a cracking 67 off 83 balls, a well-made fifty. Shadi Sideek chipped in with 22. Manjit Singh Saini claimed four for 28 for Aintree Stallions White.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 3/149 in 21.2 overs. The best of the hosts' batters was Kulvir kahlon with 40. Rayan Waqas bowled nicely to finish with two for 25.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Chins up, everyone.
