Good news from our Hoppers Crossing 1st XI, who overcame Melton 1st XI with Simon Lambert leading the way.
We batted first and put 150 on the board from 20 overs. Simon Lambert's 44 off 28 balls was the highlight with the bat.
Needing 151, Melton 1st XI finished on 7/108 from 20 overs. Jason Hibbert posted 55 not out for our opponents, a stylish fifty. Sai Surapaneni led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 20. Bhaumik Jani added two for 29.
A cracking result for the group. That's five wins on the trot for the side. Onwards and upwards.
