Tuesday didn't go our way, as our Hoppers Crossing T20 had to give best to Werribee T20 away from home.
We posted 143, and Werribee T20 5/149. The hosts' best was a half-century from Ryan Alifraco, who made 78. Our best with the ball was Brett Smith, who took two for 21.
Bibek Virk batted well for 41 off 26 balls with six fours and one six. Dheeman Thakar contributed 33 off 24 balls. Reeve Bal Pannu was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with three for 23.
Plenty to take out of this one.
The side will be keen to bounce back.
