It was a good day out for our Hoppers Crossing Sunday XI, who put away Werribee Sunday XI away from home on Sunday.
Werribee Sunday XI batted first and made 115 from 35.1 overs. Aidan Hibbert bowled nicely to finish with three for 26. Bikram Saini chipped in with two for 16.
In reply, the side reached the target at 6/117 in 35 overs. Sainandan Nathi batted well for 27 off 40 balls with four fours. Pritesh Sheth chipped in with 24.
Bowling the hosts out proved decisive.
A great effort from the group.
