Our Hoppers Crossing CC came unstuck as they had to give best to Laverton CC Div B in a tough outing.
We batted first and finished with 10/62 on the board from 18.4 overs. Pavan Bade made a valuable 18 off 22 balls. Laverton CC Div B's best with the ball was Taha Hussain (three for 23).
Our opponents knocked off the runs, finishing on 1/63 in 6.5 overs. Colin Weller was 34 not out for the visitors.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
