Saturday belonged to our Hoppers Crossing 4th XI, who prevailed over Werribee 4th XI for a great result.
Batting first, we posted 2/206 from 20 overs. Azib Javed posted a half-century, making 89 not out off 53 balls with seven fours and two sixes. Fifty for Aaron Samson, who finished with 53 off 48 balls.
Werribee 4th XI were all out for 65 in 15.3 overs in reply. Steven Barlow was the pick of the bowlers, taking four for 7 off 3.3 overs.
A great effort from the group.
