The Hoppers Crossing 4th XI were too good for Brunswick 4th XI for a terrific result.
In terms of totals, it was Hoppers Crossing 4th XI 6/239 and Brunswick 4th XI 10/203. Sohaib Atta made a great 74 off 129 balls, a well-made fifty. Aaron Samson brought up a classy half-century, finishing with 59 off 164 balls. Roghan Arun Preethi also got among the runs with 36 off 63 balls.
Bikram Saini bowled nicely for a six-wicket haul, six for 54 off 15.2 overs. Jashandeep Singh finished with two for 35. Credit to Parth Pandya, who made a half-century (85) for our opponents.
It was a terrific all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
