Our Hoppers Crossing 3rd XI had plenty to celebrate after they saw off Preston 3rd XI on Saturday at Crispe Park.
We finished on 8/118, with Preston 3rd XI on 7/111. The best of our opponents' batters was Shravan Nambiar with 29. Bikram Saini led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 14. There were also wickets for Aadarsh Itankar (two for 24).
Aaron Samson's 37 was the highlight with the bat.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around. It's three wins on the bounce. That has us second on the ladder. The team will look to keep it going against St Bernard's OC 3rd XI next Saturday.
