Our HCCC 6th XI were on song as they came out on top against St Johns CC 2nd XI for a superb result.
St Johns CC 2nd XI's innings closed at 4/163 from 35 overs. The hosts' best was a half-century from Mohit Patiyal, who made 94.
In reply, the group reached the target at 7/164 in 34.5 overs. Sainandan Nathi's 51 off 65 balls was a half-century to remember. Solid support came from Vedang Asti, who made 26. For our opponents, Raymond Frew took three for 31 off seven overs.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around. Revenge, of sorts: the hosts had won our previous meeting this season. Well played, all.
